How to find us

By car: From the A9 (Berlin-Munich) at the Hermsdorfer Kreuz motorway junction, take the A4 towards Erfurt and Frankfurt/Main – exit at Jena-Göschwitz – take Rudolstädter Straße towards the city centre – after approx. 5 km turn left onto Winzerlaer Straße/Beutenberg Campus, then follow the road and the signs to Beutenberg Campus.

By train: From Berlin, Munich or Frankfurt am Main to Jena-Paradies and from there walk to the nearby Teichgraben stop. Take bus no. 10, 11 or 12 in the direction of Beutenberg, Burgau or Göschwitz to the Beutenberg Campus stop. Tickets can be purchased on the bus. Then turn right into Hans-Knöll-Straße, then left into Albert-Einstein-Straße until you reach IPHT (white building).

By aeroplane: From Leipzig Airport, take the shuttle bus to Leipzig Central Station, from there continue to Jena-Paradies station – continue as described under “By train”. From Frankfurt/Main airport, take the S-Bahn to Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof, from there take the train to Jena West station – continue as described under “By train”.
